Be Ready for Tagging This Weekend

Hello Parents and Cadets! Here are the important details about the 758 Argus bi-annual Tagging Fundraiser. Let’s dive right in![/vc_column_text][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Mandatory Shifts

All cadets are required to Tag for at least 3 shifts. This is the squadron’s primary fundraiser and as such, all are required to contribute. If you cannot complete your shifts, please bring a signed note by your parent/guardian the following Monday.

Cadets will meet at LHQ (basement of the daycare) for all shifts. Cadets enter through the back door, while parents volunteering to drive enter through the front.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1350″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

When you do your 3 shifts you are supporting your squadron; you’re being a team player. When you step up to the next level and do 4 shifts you get recognition as a Committed Cadet. When you go even further and do all 5 shifts you are recognized as a Leader.

Members of the Orienteering Team participating in the competition do not need to ask to be excused.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Bonus: High school students can convert Tagging hours into community service hours! Ask your school for the forms and then bring them (completed) to the SSC for validation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1352″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1508442419539{border-top-width: 1px !important;border-right-width: 1px !important;border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-left-width: 1px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-right: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;padding-left: 10px !important;background-color: #263949 !important;border-left-color: #263949 !important;border-right-color: #263949 !important;border-top-color: #263949 !important;border-bottom-color: #263949 !important;border-radius: 10px !important;}” el_class=”tagging_callout”]

DRESS FOR THAT WEATHER

Cadets are not allowed to be inside any store; dress so that you don’t freeze (parka, toque, layers, etc). Remember, it’s freezing in the morning, hot in the afternoon, and cold again in the evening!

Watch Out!

If you’re fooling around, slouching, chewing gum, chatting, using your phone – not Tagging, you will be officially cautioned. If you catch a fellow cadet doing things like that, remind them that we’re a team and we need to stick together.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Boss Mode

Press that Uniform, polish those Boots, cut/do your Hair, and get all your Patches sewn on. Remember: you look like a Boss when you’re in a uniform that is up to standards.

If you don’t have a uniform right now, you are still going to keep the same standards for dress and hair. Your black and whites are impressive in their own right, so be on point.

Everyone will be impressed by how sharp you look, and that makes them want to donate. Also, our whole team will be out there in the public eye this weekend. We are all representatives of the cadet program as a whole – let’s show everyone how awesome the Air Cadets are![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”tagging_callout”][vc_row_inner el_class=”tagging_callout”][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”1365″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Cadets of ALL ranks are required to Tag for a minimum of 3 Shifts. One Last Thing!

Dear Parents, when you bring your cadet to LHQ on Avondale, please do not leave. Instead, come downstairs and help the 758 team! What we need most of all is help driving the cadets to and from their Tagging locations. We rely on parents each Tagging session to help with this, and without the generous support of our committed parent community – we literally can not get the Cadets out to all locations without you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
