Annual Assessment Fee per cadet: $125.00
Administration Fee: $75.00 per family
For a total amount owing of $200.00 for the first cadet paid by cash, credit, debit, or e-transfer to: accounting@758argus.ca. Cheques can be made payable to the “758 Argus Squadron Sponsor Association”.
Please note: No young person will ever be turned away or denied entry into the Cadet Program for financial reasons. We will make every accommodation possible to ensure every cadet has equal opportunity to participate in the program. BREAKDOWN OF FEES
Annual Assessment Fee:
The Ontario Provincial Committee (OPC) of the Air Cadet League of Canada – the regulatory body for Air Cadet Squadrons in Ontario – levies an annual fee for every registered cadet. The fee per cadet annually is $125.00. This fee is collected annually for new cadets during registration and for returning cadets on the first night back after summer stand down. The Squadron Sponsoring Comittee (SSC) is the local representative body of the Ontario Provincial Committee of the Air Cadet league of Canada and collects the assesment on behalf of the OPC. Those parents with more than one cadet registered with the squadron are requested to speak with any member of the SSC so that the payment can be made without causing any undue financial strain.
Administration Fee:
This $75.00 fee helps offset some of the cost of operating the squadron and is only collected once per family.
To summarize: for cadets registering each year, there is $200.00 payable during registration (in August for new cadets or first thing in September for returning cadets).
